How will we collect keys and get directions to our cottage?
Upon receipt of your final payment we will send you full instructions regarding key collection & directions.
When can we arrive & what time should we leave?
Our cottages are generally available from 4pm on the day of arrival and you will need to leave buy 10am on the day of departure.
What should we remember to bring?
Booking confirmation & directions. Maps of area & guidebooks. Rucksacks, binocular & any outdoor / sporting gear. Insect sprays
What if we need to cancel our holiday?
Please contact us as soon as possible in writing detailing the reasons for cancellation we will attempt to re-let the property and if successful will make a full refund to you less an administration fee of £50 and any other expenses incurred in re-letting
All bookings for our Perthshire self-catering cottages made through Home From Home Perthshire qualify for our full refund cover. To be eligible for this cover you must be UK resident and aged over 18yrs. If cancellation is caused through death, injury, sickness or call to jury service of the hirer, any close member of his/her family or any person with whom he/she is travelling, then Home From Home Perthshire undertakes to refund the deposit and balance if paid on production of documented proof showing cancellation is due to one of the circumstances above.
How do we pay for our holiday?
We require a deposit of 25% to confirm your holiday
The balance being due 7 weeks prior to the start of your holiday
We accept payment by all major credit (3% surcharge) & Debit cards .
We also accept BACS Transfers & cheques.
