Visitors can fish the mighty Tay, go white water rafting at Grandtully and play golf in both Pitlochry and Blair Atholl. Heading west guests can drive to Loch Tummel and Rannoch Moor where amid more glorious scenery Schiehallion, the fairy mountain also awaits keen walkers.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre is probably Pitlochry's best known tourist attraction, the theatre has grown in popularity since its opening in 1951 and now offers performances, shows and events all year round. Known as Scotland`s `Theatre in the Hills` Pitlochry Festival Theatre offers a marvellous variety of plays and performances from farcical comedies to tragedies that bring audiences back season after season. In addition to performances in the main auditorium the programme now offers a range of foyer events such as Concerts, Arts & Crafts demonstrations and pre-performance entertainment.
