What Our Guests Say

Good morning Just to say that we enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill, Killiecrankie and the accommodation was excellent. Many thanks for the welcome pack of salmon, oat cakes and whisky which we made short work of. Our weather was also excellent and most welcome after the summer rain. So, all in all, a smashing week for us.

We had a lovely stay in the Old Mill House over Christmas. Our hosts had spoiled us with decorations, local produce and even a tiny Christmas tree. Enjoyed hiking up to Loch Moraig on our first day right out the house. Stunning landscape and a warm fire and bath to come back to. Many thanks

The Old Mill is a very cute and cosy location, a bit hidden behind trees and the neighbors houses, on the slope of a hill. It was a perfect starting point for our trips in the Central Highland region. The communication with Bea, from Home From Home Perthshire was very good. She solved almost immediately our little wifi problem which, at hindsight, seems to be a bigger 'problem' in the more remote areas of Scotland. Gert

We have really enjoyed our stay in the Old Mill. It really is home from home. It's one of the best cottages we have stayed in - lovely setting, beautiful area and so quiet we have lunch sitting in the garden. Really comfortable. We will be back again.

Like many rural properties in Scotland The Old Mill takes its water from a hill supply. The supply is full treated and inspected annually by Perth and Kinross Council to ensure it meets the stringent requirements for private water supplies. Occasionally after heavy rain the peat in the ground causes the water to become brown in colour - it remains completely safe to drink.
