What Our Guests Say

Hi Bea For many years we’ve been spending our summer holidays in Scotland. And as every time we had also a great time this year. There haven’t been any problems with the cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was the perfect place for relaxing and recharging the batteries. The view towards Ben Vrackie is great. And the peaceful meadow with the sheep opposite the house we liked. We are sure this wont be the last time we stay in Scotland. Greetings from Halle in Germany , Jörg

We had a fantastic stay at The Sheiling in Pitlochry. The house is absolutely charming, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and only a short stroll to the high street. Ann & family

Sheiling House is situated in Pitlochry with wonderful views of Ben Vrackie and the surrounding countryside. The house is beautifully decorated, was clean on arrival and contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are 2 restaurants within easy walking distance and if you fancy a longer walk Edradour distillery and Pitlochry town centre are good options. A fantastic base to explore all that Perthshire has to offer.

Hi Bea, We had a lovely holiday. The house is lovely and very well maintained. The owners left lots of birthday treats for my husband which was incredibly lovely and he was very touched. All in all it is a fabulous property.

The bustling tourist town of Pitlochry, is famous for its Festival Theatre, Hydro Dam and distilleries as well as charming local shops and excellent eating places. Just slightly further north is the historic town of Blair Atholl, set in the Cairngorms National Park, home to the impressive Blair Castle Estate.

Highland Perthsire offers endless walking opportunities from short forest strolls to more substantial mountain walks with stunning views. Mountain bike tracks, fishing, golfing and pony trekking are all available locally.

Loch Tay beyond Aberfeldy, is Perthshire's largest Loch, and offers excellent facilities for water sports as well as the Crannog Centre, the Iron Age stilt house on the Loch which paints a fascinating picture of early Iron Age life.
