"We have so enjoyed our 4th stay in the exquisite Ruggles Cottage. It is beautifully equipped in every way. The garden is amazing with two summer houses, barbecue area and a babbling brook running alongside. Red squirrels ?️ visit the feeder and the birds are regular visitors. Safe car parking. Not to be missed. Great golf at St Fillans- Sandy Lyle’s favourite 9 hole course. Denton family "

"The pretty, local village, Comrie, had everything we needed to buy and we dined out one evening at the Royal Hotel where the food was excellent. Aberfeldy and Pitlochry were good places to visitant as was Drummond Castle and gardens in Crieff. Drives to Aberfeldy and Pitlochry were highlights with lovely scenery and walks. The weather was unbelievably good. "

"This was our second visit to Ruggles and we once again thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ruggles is a well equipped accommodation with a period feel to the main room, high ceilings and circular stair al add to this with the fireplace and large stove setting of the room and offering a lovely central feature and indeed warmth in the winter months. We enjoyed our cosy setting with the views from the large windows across the burn to the trees and sky beyond. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruggles over the New Year period. The house is very cosy in the cold Scottish winter, and plenty of logs and coal were provided so that we could keep the fire going whenever we were at home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in both bathrooms worked very well. The kitchen was well provisioned for making meals. The location of Ruggles is stunning with some beautiful walks straight out of the front door. A particularly nice touch was the bag of monkey nuts that was provided – we put some out on the feeders opposite the front door and were almost immediately rewarded with the sight of a red squirrel coming to eat them. This was our second trip to Ruggles and we’ll almost certainly be coming again. "

"We contacted Bea at Home from Home Perthshire to book our third family visit (6 adults) for our annual golfing holiday at Ruggles Cottage on the Dunira Estate Comrie. The Cottage is superbly furnished - the kitchen is wonderfully equipped. There are two summer houses in the garden, barbecue area and a babbling brook running by. The wildlife is plentiful - deer, red squirrels and red kites. Parking facilities are available. It is close to Crieff and Loch Earn together with Comrie and St Fillans Golf clubs. I was born and brought up in Pitlochry. We decided to spend Christmas in the town so we could spend time with my mum who is in hospital. This property is absolutely fabulous, two generous bedrooms, a good size sitting room and kitchen plus a beautiful garden overlooking the woods.The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and festive. We will definitely be back.

This was a fantastic stay right in the heart of the town of Pitlochry. Shops and some fantastic restaurants are right around the corner making it so easy to get around on foot. We used Pitlochry as a base to access more of the highlands and it worked well.

Cow Shed 2 is just such a lovely cosy, warm & comfortable place. Everything was as we remembered from previous visits. Spotlessly clean, great attention to detail & a real home from home. Steve & Kirsty are fab hosts.
