Covid-19 Guest Information

July

Due to the on-going Covid-19 social distancing restrictions our office hours will be 10am-3pm.

We are keen to help with your enquiries and will respond as soon as possible.

Further to the announcement by the First Minister of Scotland on the 24th June, self-contained holiday accommodation with no shared services can open from the 3rd of July. The guidance advising people to travel no more than five miles for leisure and recreation has also be lifted from this date.

Please be assured that when our cottages do reopen our owners will be following the ASSC recommended Safety & Cleaning Protocols to protect our guests, owners & caretakers.

NEW BOOKINGS FOR JULY TO OCTOBER 2020

New bookings being reserved now are unlikely to be covered by insurance companies for Covid 19, as they were for policies sold up to the 13th March 2020, and therefore anyone making a booking now will not be able to protect their booking for this pandemic. We will therefore agree to refund deposits and balances, less a £45.00 administration fee, for any new booking which is made by deposit for dates in the months of July through to October 2020 inclusive, if there is another Government Travel Restriction put in place at either the location of the house or the location of your address as supplied on your booking form. It will not apply to any other reason for cancellation so we recommend that you secure appropriate Travel Insurance to cover yourself for illness, accident, redundancy, death of a close relative, etc. The normal Terms and Conditions will apply to all new bookings made on or after 1st July 2020 for November 2021 and beyond.

Our guest’s health as well as the health of our cleaning teams is our main priority.  Thank you for your cooperation by applying the respective safety and hygiene standards. Together we will manage this extraordinary situation, for everyone’s safety and to ensure a happy and relaxing stay.

Guest Review

We`ve had a great, relaxing week at the cottage, enjoying walks in the area. Loch Ordie was the highlight. We greatly enjoyed the log fire and can see there is a lot of family history to this wee cottage. It is the perfect quite retreat. Very comfortable indeed. Donnie & Fiona

We enjoyed our stay very much, as usual! (third time) and left very favorable feedback in the visitors book. The accommodation is lovely and everything has been thought of to make it a very special stay for lucky guests. Every time something has been added – notably this time a heated towel rail in the bathroom which we had found rather cool on previous visits. I appreciated the piano music and had a go! We had some fantastic walks , our favorite was from Garry bridge to Pitlochry and this time we walked back instead of taking the bus! Steve and Kirsty are marvelous hosts and we hope to visit again before too long.
