About This Property

Lovingly converted with great flair and imagination The Stables has been transformed into a stylish holiday retreat for  couples in search of a relaxing holiday amid superb scenery. Combining rustic charm with contemporary features the spacious accommodation is filled with character and light. Just 6 miles from Pitlochry in the heart of Perthshire The Stables makes the perfect base for exploring this stunning region of Scotland.

Accommodation comprises:

Open plan sitting room, beautifully furnished with ample comfortable seating and wood-burning stove ( TV DVD). Large feature windows overlook the surrounding farmland and heather clad hills beyond. The stylish dining kitchen is light, bright and very well-equipped ( oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher). Also on the ground floor is a spacious shower room with shower cubicle, wc, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. A utility cupboard houses the washing machine and tumble drier. Stairs off the main living area lead to the elegant master bedroom with generous super king-size bed and ample storage. The adjoining modern bathroom has the bonus of having both a double-ended bath and a walk-in shower.

Outside a charming, sheltered and sunny little seating area has been created, ideal for peaceful evening drinks, or even an alfresco lunch or breakfast.

Parking is adjacent to the cottage.

Situated within the Cairngorms National Park there is an endless array of activities and attractions to explore straight from the cottage. Loch Tay, Tummel and Rannoch, as well as five golf courses, are all within an hours drive. Salmon and trout fishing are available on the Garry and Tay rivers while walkers and mountain bikers will love adventurous trips into the Cairngorms, Royal Deeside or more gentle strolls through Perthshire`s  'Big Tree Country' in nearby Dunkeld and Aberfeldy. The bustling highland town of Pitlochry has a famous year-round Festival Theatre, Hydro dam  and visitor centre, golf course and Scotland's smallest distillery, Edradour, while Blair Atholl (4 miles to the north), is home to Blair Castle, village shops, the award-winning 'Watermill' bakery, a golf course and, in August, hosts the International Blair Atholl Horse Trials. For retail therapy the House of Bruar (7 miles) offers some of Scotland`s finest produce from smoked salmon to cashmere.
