We enjoyed ascending Cairngorm on the mountain funicular railway (near Aviemore) for the spectacular views, followed by a journey on Strathspey Heritage railway from Aviemore to Broomhill. "

No 1 The Bank

"We had a lovely weekend at No.1 the Bank. The flat is lovely and 2 of us were originally from the area and remembering using it as a bank. The location was brilliant with MacDonald the butchers across the road for hot rolls in the morning. The facilities in the flat itself was spot on.Loved the way it was decorated. Comfortable sofas in the living area. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding fabulous. The shower was also brilliant and nice and hot. On our next trip to Pitlochry we will definitely be looking to stay at No.1 the Bank again. Just perfect as far are we were all concerned. "

Amazing property in an amazing location. Lovely, big private garden which gives it a sense of space, even though really close to centre of Pitlochry. The house is bigger than it looks and really well equipped. Location is perfect for a wander into Pitlochry as well as exploring the area through easy access on to main routes. Can’t wait to return!

Hi Bea Just to thank you (and the owners) re our recent stay (9/8/22). My family and I had a lovely time and really enjoyed the comfort of the bungalow including the beautiful, secluded garden… so tranquil. Great cottage - loved the sunroom. Beautiful green colours of trees amazing. Saw red squirrels at Blair Atholl and came face to face with a stag stood in the road to Queen's View. Lovely walks. Great food from Cidsin and Moulin Inn.
