We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruggles over the New Year period. The house is very cosy in the cold Scottish winter, and plenty of logs and coal were provided so that we could keep the fire going whenever we were at home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in both bathrooms worked very well. The kitchen was well provisioned for making meals. The location of Ruggles is stunning with some beautiful walks straight out of the front door. A particularly nice touch was the bag of monkey nuts that was provided – we put some out on the feeders opposite the front door and were almost immediately rewarded with the sight of a red squirrel coming to eat them. This was our second trip to Ruggles and we’ll almost certainly be coming again.

Yet another fabulous holiday in North Shore perfect accommodation with beautiful furnishings & garden to enjoy short walk from Pitlochry High Street beautiful area plenty places to visit including the the dam , queens view , soldiers leap and an hours drive the folk museum at Aviemore . Thank you once again.

The stay was fantastic no complaints the cottage was the best we have stayed in up to now with Home from Home Perthshire.
