The cottage itself is lovely, clean, comfortable, has every amenity, including a lovely log-burner with plenty of wood included. The owners were very welcoming and available, though not at all intrusive. Definitely at the top of our list of places to stay.

The Cow Shed 2 is our go to holiday cottage, and any others we visit we measure against It, and nothing measures up! It’s perfect, it’s got everything you could need, it’s spotless, comfortable and setting is absolutely beautiful. The hosts Steve and Kirsty are a lovely couple, they are so invested in their guests having the best experience, nothing is too much trouble, and they go the extra mile (or several) to ensure everything is spot on! My wife and I have spent a wonderful week here and we recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday yet being minutes to all the lovely little shops ,pubs,cafes and restaurants. Wonderful lochside walks also on the doorstep.
