"We had a lovely 4 day holiday over new year again. We have used Yeomans House many times and its a great base for the Pitlochry new year celebrations. The new year dancing and music on the main street on New year’s day is always fun. Great restaurants and bars near at hand always have a wonderful atmosphere. "

Ruggles Cottage

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruggles over the New Year period. The house is very cosy in the cold Scottish winter, and plenty of logs and coal were provided so that we could keep the fire going whenever we were at home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in both bathrooms worked very well. The kitchen was well provisioned for making meals. The location of Ruggles is stunning with some beautiful walks straight out of the front door. A particularly nice touch was the bag of monkey nuts that was provided – we put some out on the feeders opposite the front door and were almost immediately rewarded with the sight of a red squirrel coming to eat them. This was our second trip to Ruggles and we’ll almost certainly be coming again. "

Lovely and quiet house, but easy walk into Pitlochry. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, can recommend the Golf Club, Escape Route Cafe (lovely Cullen Skink with a huge sandwich) & the Coffee Break (all very dog friendly), lovely view from the Boat House Cafe overlooking Loch Faskally {dogs outside only). Another most enjoyable stay at one of our favourite places to take a holiday. The Cow Shed was, once again, perfect for our needs. We love the quiet peaceful environment & the amazing views along the valley. A great base to explore Perthshire from. We enjoyed ascending Cairngorm on the mountain funicular railway (near Aviemore) for the spectacular views, followed by a journey on Strathspey Heritage railway from Aviemore to Broomhill.

Hi, we all had a fab time in Pitlochry. The house was superb, well equipped for all our needs, very clean and comfortable, was lovely to sit out in garden. Would definitely recommend Vrackie View, we are all hoping to come back next year. Best stay in years !
