We had a lovely stay in Auld Smiddy Cottage. The history of the house is clearly explained and artefacts and pictures give a taste of the smiddy. The house is comfortable with everything you could need. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the garden, relaxing to the soothing sound of the stream. The bedrooms were bright and spacious. Thank you for our stay.

Hi, We would just like to say that our holiday in Roneval from 19th September to 3rd October 2020, was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Plenty of Gel wash and wipes. Fantastic walks from the door, we only used the car twice in the fortnight. Lovely warm and clean house. Excellent location. Lovely views from the dining room to the hills. Fantastic little spot for reading my kindle next to the dining table. So good, we have booked another fortnight in 2021. Excellent coffee and scones at the Escape Cafe at the other end of town and lovely meal in the Golf Club (dogs allowed). Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Fantastic cottage within easy walking of Pitlochry. Very well appointed accommodation in a very nice quiet village with a pub with food and drink next door.
