Had a great stay, very private and peaceful. Travelled solo by motorcycle and the location was very secure and accessible for my bike. Must return in the future with my wife by car as it was a great place to stay. The bed was especially comfy & I slept well.

We loved the location of Ruggles Cottage, being able to go for walks straight from the door. The area is very beautiful and peaceful. We loved the garden and the sound of the stream beside it. great base for exploring the area. The weather was such that we could spend a few evenings in the garden watching the swallows and house martins darting about and feeding a couple of their young that had not fledged yet. The resident deer in the field were lovely to view from a distance too.

This was our second visit to The Cow Shed and as soon as we arrived and looked out at the stunning views we felt relaxed. Steve and Kirsty are so welcoming and have thought of everything to make the place feel like home. It's spotless, cosy and in the best location. We visited Ben Nevis but chose to stay locally for the remainder of our stay, never wanting to go far because we couldn't wait to return to this beautiful holiday home and relax. We cannot wait to visit again
