Auld Smiddy Cottage

"A beautiful cottage, clean environment throughout including bathroom, shower/toilets bedrooms and the kitchen/diner. Lovely setup in all the rooms, great combination of furnishings ( real home away from home) specious and well located in a quiet area. I was beautifully surprised as the pictures do not do the cottage justice. Great internet connection, local restaurants, amenities. For us it was centrally located and perfect for the areas that we were visiting (reasonable travel time to make day visits to part of the Highlands and to other Scottish cities and attractions. "

"We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the Athol Palace hotel, which is 5 mins away. The house is in a well kept tasteful estate. Great beds, Everything else worked & the views are great. Good place to stay. "
