A rugged log cabin kindles feelings of open spaces and adventure in grown-ups and kids alike. Sheltered below its turf roof and blending in to its natural environment this unique log cabin has a charming interior combining a cosy rustic feel with a restful atmosphere. Located at Dalguise in Highland Perthshire the cabin is conveniently situated between Dunkeld and Pitlochry while the accessible location offers easy access to the main A9 for those who wish to explore further afield.
Accommodation comprises: on one level, open plan kitchen, dining and living area with large comfy sofas and wood burning stove. Doors lead out onto a covered veranda perfect for enjoying the beautiful wooded setting. Pretty twin bedroom, Double bedroom with fold down child bunk over. Spacious shower room with underfloor heating, utility room with washing machine and drying space.
The cabin sits within a backdrop of mature Oak and Beech trees with tumbling burns and abundant wildlife. There is ample parking to the front of the cabin and the owners are happy to provide storage and washing facilities for bikes. Endless walks and bike tracks are available straight from the door.
Kirk Park Cabin is the ideal self-catering base for outdoor enthusiasts as well as a perfect holiday retreat for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Wood lined walls, robust timbers and attractive furnishings combine to create the perfect atmosphere for unwinding next to the wood burner and enjoying the character of this very special cabin.
