The new driving route around the Heart of Scotland - 200 miles of roads with history, myth and adventure through majestic landscape.
The Heart200 route is from Stirling in the South to Blair Atholl in the North. About 60% of the route is in Perthshire so all our holiday cottages are perfect for starting to enjoy small bites of the route.
Highpoints of the route include Loch Leven Castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned on an island, Scone Palace where Scottish kings were crowned, Dunkeld where Macbeth's Birnam Oak still stands and the ancient Yew at Fortingall, near Aberfeldy, Europe's oldest tree
The whole route would take more than a week to enjoy. Full route guide and merchandise will be available this Summer.
“Lovely homely apartment within walking distance of centre. Recommended.” Craig
Adorable home in the Highlands! Highly recommend staying here for a nice relaxing and quiet stay! Neeley & friends
We stayed three nights in the farmhouse and loved the quiet and beautiful property. This is a guesthouse on a large working estate and the host family was very friendly and welcoming. We came and went without issue and really enjoyed the nearby town of Dunkeld for food and groceries. The house was very nicely decorated and was really comfortable.
Due to the Covid-19 movement restrictions our office hours during the lock-down period will be 10am-2pm.
We are keen to help with your enquiries and will respond as soon as possible.
Further to the announcement by the First Minister of Scotland on the 24th June, self-contained holiday accommodation with no shared services can open from the 3rd of July. The guidance advising people to travel no more than five miles for leisure and recreation will also be lifted from this date.
Please be assured that when our cottages do reopen our owners will be following the ASSC recommended Safety & Cleaning Protocols to protect our guests, owners & caretakers.
