We had a great time staying at Rocksite. It is one of the best hidden of the log cabins in the area, so you really do get a great deal of privacy to just relax. The cabin itself is very spacious and whether you are staying as a couple (as we were) or in a group there is loads of space in each of the numerous rooms. Even the toilets are roomy! And of course all the walls and ceilings are made of thick solid wood logs. Despite being off the beaten track the cabin had absolutely everything we could have wanted; all mod cons, good showers, heating throughout, wifi, plenty of power sockets and all the appliances you’d expect. We had a really lovely time at the cottage. It was very week equipped and felt very homely. I loved how quiet it was, so rare these days and the view was spectacular.
This was our second visit to The Cow Shed and as soon as we arrived and looked out at the stunning views we felt relaxed. Steve and Kirsty are so welcoming and have thought of everything to make the place feel like home. It's spotless, cosy and in the best location. We visited Ben Nevis but chose to stay locally for the remainder of our stay, never wanting to go far because we couldn't wait to return to this beautiful holiday home and relax. We cannot wait to visit again
