"What a fantastic break we have had! Your cottage is warm, welcoming, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a short-stay, long-stay, forever! On our walk to Birnam Hill, we strolled through Beatrice Potter Garden- a super place for children of all ages. Birnam Hill is a great walk- approx 1-1.30 hrs to the top. We did see some beautiful sights on the ascend. The food is also lovely at the Atholl Arms, some great little shops in Dunkeld too, don't miss the pottery shop in the square! Thank you for a wonderful break. "

"Great for all ages as we took our daughter and great grandson. Being able to walk in the country and feed the animals on the small holding, as well as taste the great produce created here, all left for free on our arrival.The spotless accommodation was so comfy and relaxing we could have stayed forever. "A good sized farm house with nice country kitchen (Table has space for 8), cosy room with a fire and another TV room. Grassy area to the rear of the house with large picnic table. Provided cot and high chair very useful for a baby/toddler. House is situated on a working country estate with pheasant, partridge and deer all possible to see. "

Had 4 enjoyable nights at Auld Smiddy Cottage. Great facilities in the cottage and the location is perfect - quiet and peaceful with a short walk into town and near both cycling and walking routes . The courtyard with the stream nearby is a great place to sit out.

Lovely location, very comfortable and well fitted out with everything you might need. It is somewhere you can relax surrounded by beautiful items such as a piano which makes it feel very much like a home rather than a business

Hello the holiday was great, did many walks in Pitlochry. Gardners Cottage is a a little gem hidden away. The cottage was well equipped every thing was well thought out and we needed for nothing .The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us made us welcome will definatley be returning again .
