The Cow Shed at Lettoch Cottages

"Following a previous visit to Lettoch Cottages, we returned after Covid and life threw some curve balls at our holiday plans. Despite the 7 year absence, Steve & Kirsty welcomed us back to The Cow Shed with their usual warm hospitality. Little touches like checking in with us as they were not going to be home when we initially arrived, to ensuring we were able to still function when Storm Amy popped in were much appreciated. The views are just spectacular whatever the weather and certainly nourish the soul. The Cow Shed is well equipped, comfortable, warm and spacious and the added attraction of the squirrels, birds and deer are a welcome bonus. "

Everything is clean and comfortable with special touches like heated floors, high quality linens, a powerful shower and a huge wood burner. All that was needed was a match. The attention to detail is evident in the beautiful furnishings, as well as in details like the bird feeders placed precisely in front of the kitchen window. Another most enjoyable stay at one of our favourite places to take a holiday. The Cow Shed was, once again, perfect for our needs. We love the quiet peaceful environment & the amazing views along the valley. A great base to explore Perthshire from. We enjoyed ascending Cairngorm on the mountain funicular railway (near Aviemore) for the spectacular views, followed by a journey on Strathspey Heritage railway from Aviemore to Broomhill.

What a beautiful cottage. Everything was as described. About a 12 minute walk into the centre of Pitlochry which was absolutely fine, uphill on the way back though! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if available when needed. Thanks for letting us stay.
