"A lovely stay in a charming cottage. Can recommend Cluny House Gardens to see the red squirrels up close and almost sitting on your feet, need to be the between 9 and 10 for feeding time. St. Andrews is incredible. Balmoral a must, and Aviemore and cairngorm mountain railway, expensive but SO worth it. "

"Lovely cottage. Everything we needed. Comfy beds, nice linen and towels. Clean and tidy. The kitchen and dining area were so sociable. Lovely garden. Our wee dog loved it. Great for Pitlochry just away from hustle and bustle but still a nice walk in. Lovely pub next door (not noisy). Great for a drink. Excellent for walks without having to take the car out. Would definitely recommend! Will be back! Bea & team very quick to respond to any questions! "

Dear Bea, Well yet again we had a lovely two weeks in North Shore the sun shone The whole two weeks we were there as it did last year. The cottage was very comfortable and it was so good looking out on to the forest and Loch. We just love it here every thing is just on your door step. We certainly will be back next year. This was a fantastic place , Auld Smiddy Cottage! The five of us all give it very high marks. The location was super, walking distance to Pitlochry. However, quieter than being closer to town. All the rooms are very well appointed. We did not lack for anything, in the public rooms as well as the bedrooms. Had we stayed longer we would have taken advantage of the lovely back garden area. All in all I highly recommend this wonderful cottage.
