"We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Bothy over the New Year period. The location is utterly stunning, with wide-ranging views across the valley, and it’s perfectly placed for exploring the Cairngorms and their beautiful landscapes. The home itself is thoughtfully decorated — we felt very at home from the moment we arrived. We experienced a minor weather-related issue due to the sub-zero temperatures, but Bea and Stuart were extremely helpful and responsive, with great communication throughout. A truly beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. We would thoroughly recommend staying here. "

"One of my favourite places I've ever stayed. It's a beautifully designed space in a spectacular, quiet location with views and wildlife everywhere. Everything is clean and comfortable with special touches like heated floors, high quality linens, a powerful shower and a huge wood burner. Parking is right outside with easy access to the main road north and south. Such a great find! "

"What a wonderful place. A beautiful bothy with everything you could possibly need. And a view. That's stunning. Upon arrival, everything was already set up in the fireplace. All that was needed was a match. The attention to detail is evident in the beautiful furnishings, as well as in details like the bird feeders placed precisely in front of the kitchen window. Very nice. "

"We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Bothy. The location was stunning and secluded with amazing views across the countryside. The Bothy itself is beautifully designed (especially the kitchen/dining area!), and perfect for a short break away. Bea very helpfully sent through very clear directions as I think the Satnav would’ve had some trouble finding it. There were some lovely welcoming touches which were very much appreciated. Excellent communication from Bea throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend The Bothy to anyone looking for a calm and tranquil stay away in the Perthshire countryside. "

"We just had a delightful stay at the Orchilmore Bothy at Killiecrankie. It is beautifully kept ,tastefully furnished and decorated and equipped with everything needed. The views in all directions are superb with good walking and driving routes nearby. We saw red squirrels, red deer and numerous species of birds from the bothy doorstep. Very helpful owners on site. We thoroughly recommend and will certainly return. "

Thanks again Kenny and Rita for yet another fantastic stay and for the welcome pack. We loved the peace and quiet and watching the birds. We had some amazing walks with super views as well as sunny relaxing days in the garden with super weather. Recommend Fern Cottage restaurant to anyone for a lovely meal. Good Morning Bea, just to let you know we had another wonderful 2 weeks at Roneval, plenty of walks from the door and further afield, such a super home from home. Lovely and quiet house, but easy walk into Pitlochry. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, can recommend the Golf Club, Escape Route Cafe (lovely Cullen Skink with a huge sandwich) & the Coffee Break (all very dog friendly), lovely view from the Boat House Cafe overlooking Loch Faskally {dogs outside only).

A lovely, cosy cottage for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It was clean, with everything we needed and lovely comfortable beds. We could walk into Pitlochry in 7 mins and there’s a lovely Inn next door serving great food. Auld Smiddy Cottage was a perfect base to explore this lovely part of Scotland.
