The house is comfortable with everything you could need. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the garden, relaxing to the soothing sound of the stream. The bedrooms were bright and spacious. Auld Smiddy is an extremely charming cottage in a quiet location just minutes uphill from pitlochry with its many amenities. The cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed the back yard and next door pub a lot. The cottage is very quiet. Parking wasn't hard to find nearby.

One of my favourite places I've ever stayed. It's a beautifully designed space in a spectacular, quiet location with views and wildlife everywhere. Everything is clean and comfortable with special touches like heated floors, high quality linens, a powerful shower and a huge wood burner. Parking is right outside with easy access to the main road north and south. Such a great find!
