"The cottage was perfect well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was so peaceful but yet only a very short walk into Pitlochry or in the other direction to the enchanted forest. The owners Rita and Kenny were very friendly and extremely helpful the fresh flowers ,wine and shortbread were a welcome touch. It was just perfect for me, my husband and Dexter the dog and we would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to anyone. "

"This cottage was so charming! I stayed with my parents and we absolutely loved it! Birnam is an adorable, quiet town and we really enjoyed exploring/grabbing a bite to eat over in Dunkeld which was just a short walk away. The cottage is also right next to the train station and bus stop which was very convenient for traveling around since we didn’t have a car. We took the train up to Inverness for a day trip and down to Stirling the next day and both trips were quick with lovely scenery the whole way! The cottage itself was wonderful. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, especially after a long day out in the cold and I loved the beautiful garden out back. "

Susan has done a terrific job turning this into such a lovely holiday home. The facilities and quality on offer are second to none, from the bedroom to stunningly well equipped kitchen/bathroom. Everything has been thought of and provided and the welcome gifts were a wonderful little gesture. We enjoyed our stay in the newly renovated space in the center of town. Lots of room for our family of 4 with all the amenities we needed. Might have even looked better in real life than the pictures. Great home base to explore Pitlochry, hiking, and local sights.

Faskally Cottage is just perfect. We visited Loch Tay and the grandkids loved the nearby Red Deer Experience. The Boating Station at Loch Faskally is great for breakfast, and we met up with the local friends there that we have met at Pitlochry over the years. This area is great for mountain and loch side walks
