What Our Guests Say

We had an absolutely amazing time in Perthshire. The accommodation was superb and every need had been thought of and provided. Steve and Kirsty were brilliant hosts even to point of driving us down to the local restaurant for our 1st anniversary dinner. To be perfectly honest I can not think of how our stay at the Cow Shed 2 could have been improved. We certainly hope to return in the future.

April 2019

We really enjoyed our visit to the Cowshed 2. It’s a very comfortable place to stay - warm, stylish, well equipped, and convenient for many interesting walks and local places of interest.

February 2019

This has got to be the most relaxing place in the world. We chose to stay in Cow Shed 2 because we have had a busy few years and really wanted to have a calming, restorative holiday. Cow shed 2 is the perfect place to do this. We had the perfect stay. The property is so cosy and beautiful. Steve and Kirsty have such warmth, you feel like old friends immediately. I love this place! Cannot recommend it enough.

We loved Cowshed 2. Not only was it spotless but it had everything you needed for a really good self-catering holiday. We were so impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the love and care taken with all the finishing’s. The location is impressive at any time of the year and sitting looking out on the changing light was very relaxing. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting real peace and quiet in a beautiful setting with access to a range of lovely towns and beauty spots.

November 2017

We've had a fantastic week in Cow Shed 2 - our 2nd visit to Lettoch Cottages. Our Cow Shed was cosy, extremely comfortable, spotless and beautifully set up with everything you need. The setting is peaceful but in a fantastic location for exploring everything Highland Perthshire has to offer. The hosts, Steve and Kirsty, have got this (in our eyes) just right. More than just right. We hope to visit again in the future and highly recommend it to others.

We're very sorry but both Cow Sheds are strictly for adults only and not suitable for children under 14

The Cow Shed 2 is an immaculately renovated hill top barn conversion with staggering highland views. Formerly a byre, The Cow Shed 2 has been lovingly converted into a relaxing holiday retreat- perfect for couples and guests seeking peaceful comfort and panoramic views.

Just six miles north of Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire Lettoch Farm enjoys an enviable elevated position above the historic Killiecrankie battlefield.

Steve developed the Cow Shed experience becasue he wanted to create a space that everyone would love to holiday in.  He was also keen to utilise his passion for sustainable building and natural materials.

Steve halved the remaining steading by building a straw-bale wall which was plastered using traditional clay. This created a generous open-planned living space which visitors to the original Cowshed had always commented on, finding it a real plus to their short break and holiday in Perthshire. A centrally located wood burning stove separates a wonderfully cosy sitting room from the spacious open plan kitchen dining area.

It was important to Steve that comfort, sustainability and style were the focus of the Cowshed 2. The kitchen has been made almost entirely from recycled pallet wood; a theme continued on pallet wood-clad feature walls found in both the main living area and adjacent bedroom ( bed available as Super King or twin beds - please specify when booking) Underfloor heating spreads across the cottage and a wood burning stove guarantees cosiness in all weathers. Finally, the en-suite bathroom enjoys a walk-in, power shower.
